He is a Chief Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist / Advanced Minimal Access Surgeon, with over 25 years medical experience.
He graduated from the prestigious University of Ilorin in January 2000 and completed his residency training in obstetrics and gynaecology at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital and West African college of Surgeons in October 2009.
He developed interest in Minimal Access Surgery early in his residency days and his passion for the subspecialty lead him to various training programmes where he built capacity and competence to his present status as advanced Minimal Access Surgeon. He has special interest in endometriosis
He obtained fellowship and diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from the World laparoscopic Hospital, Delhi, India. He has a certificate in Advance technique in operative gynaecological endoscopy at IRCAD, Strasbourg, France. He also got a certificate in Gynaecological endoscopic surgery ‘Hysterectomy’ from ALEXEA, Alexandria, Egypt. He was also certified, having attended a course on Current technique in treatment of severe endometriosis at IRCAD, Strasbourg, France. He has bachelor in endoscopy from the European society of gynaecological endoscopy (ESGE). He just obtained a post fellowship diploma in gynaecological endoscopy from the west African College of surgeons where he emerged as the best candidate winning the Professor Joseph Ikechebelu prize.
He participated in a 2-year Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology Medical training initiative programme between November 2017 and October 2019 at the North Hampshire and Basingstoke Hospital, Basingstoke, United Kingdom. While in the training programme he wrote the college examinations and was successfully inducted as a member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (MRCOG) in July 2019.
He was the head of department Obstetrics and Gynaecology unit, Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja until July 2024 and the Medical Director of ASFA Specialist Hospital, a centre of excellence in Minimal Access Surgery located in Dawaki, Abuja. He is currently serving at the National Hospital Abuja as a Chief Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a senior lecturer with Nile University, Abuja.
Dr Akintobi pioneered operative gynaecological endoscopy in many Nigerian Hospitals, he is a renowned trainer in the field of Minimal Access Surgery in Nigeria and the course director of Abuja Laparoscopy Academy. He is happily married to a beautiful radiologist with children.
Dr. Fache M. Moses is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, fertility specialist, Minimally invasive Gynaecologic surgeon and a healthcare leader with over several years of experience in women’s health.
He is the CEO and Medical Director of Procare Hospital, Abuja, where he leads fertility services, minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, and quality-driven patient care.
His qualifications include an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine; a Postgraduate Certificate in Assisted Reproductive Techniques from the University of Warwick; a Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery from Kiel School of Gynecological Endoscopy, Germany; he is an alumni of the laparoscopic institute for Gynaecology and Oncology in California, USA; and a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (OBGYN).

Dr Onuh is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeon (OBGYN Faculty), Fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fellow of the International College of Surgeons.
He is a faculty and resource person in many post graduate training institutes. He has authored and co -authored: several original and reviewed articles in both local and international peer reviewed journals ; several chapters in reputable scientific
text books in obstetrics and gynaecology. He is also a reviewer to many scientific journals. He is a member of various professional bodies locally and internationally.

I’m a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with almost two decades of experience in Reproductive Medicine and Minimal Access Surgery. I currently serve as Head of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Head of the Fertility & Gynae Endoscopy Unit at Federal Teaching Hospital, Lokoja, Kogi State, while also holding the position of Senior Lecturer and Head of Department at Federal University and Federal Teaching Hospital Lokoja.
I’m a Fellow of both the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS) and the Medical Postgraduate College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Nigeria (FMCOG), and a Certified Minimal Access Surgeon. My clinical focus is on advancing women’s reproductive health through evidence-based care, fertility interventions, hysteroscopic and laparoscopic surgeries.
Beyond clinical practice, I’m deeply involved in surgical education and capacity building. I serve as:
– Immediate Past President of the Association of Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgeons (AGES), Nigeria — having also served as Vice President and Secretary-General
– Faculty member & trainer with LIFE Institute for Endoscopy, WACS Post-Fellowship Gynae Endoscopy Program, Abuja Laparoscopic Academy, and Certified Consultant & Trainer with Jhpiego (Johns Hopkins Program for International Education in Gynaecology & Obstetrics)
– Examiner for both the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria
I’m an active member of professional societies including NMA, SOGON, AGES, AFRH, AAGL, and APAGE, and I’ve authored several peer-reviewed papers in local and international journals, as well as contributed to medical textbooks.
I’m passionate about training the next generation of surgeons, expanding access to minimally invasive surgery in Nigeria, and strengthening postgraduate medical education.
Outside medicine, I enjoy playing billiards and chess, and I’m a keen traveler. I’m married with four children.
IKECHEBELU, Joseph Ifeanyichukwu is a Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2008), Fertility Expert and Gynaecological Endoscopic Surgeon with Faculty of Medicine, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Nnewi Campus and honorary chief Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi. He is a Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons (FWACS), National Postgraduate Medical College (FMCOG) and Royal College of Surgeons (FRCOG) UK. He holds a PhD in Human Reproduction & Women’s Health from University of Nigeria.
He was Head, Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (2008-10), Dean of Medicine (201214), Director of Academic Planning (2019-21), Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration)(202125) and Acting Vice-Chancellor (2024-25) Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. He was the pioneer President of Association of Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgeons (AGES) of Nigeria (2017-21) and Chairman/Chief Examiner, Faculty of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, West African College of Surgeons (2019-23).
His Research focus is currently on Infertility & Assisted Reproductive Technology, Gynaecological Endoscopy and women’s health with over 200 peer-reviewed articles published in reputable journals. He pioneered structured training in minimal access surgery in Nigeria since 2010 at Life specialist Hospitals Nnewi & Awka and has trained about 450 doctors in Endoscopy practice. He introduced the post-fellowship training in Gynaecological Endoscopy of the west African College of Surgeons and Life Hospital Awka is the first accredited centre for this training. He has successfully graduated 9 consultant gynaecologists in this field.

Mr Bolarinde Ola is a Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon and accredited subspecialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, with over 30 years’ experience across the UK and West Africa.
His practice focuses on assisted reproductive technologies and advanced minimally invasive surgery, managing complex referrals in hysteroscopy,
laparoscopy, and fertility-preserving procedures. His doctoral research at the University of Birmingham contributed to the development of the first over-the-counter home sperm test, and he maintains an active research profile with over 1,400 citations
He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Sheffield and has trained and mentored hundreds of clinicians across undergraduate, postgraduate, and subspecialty levels. Internationally, he has led the development of endoscopic surgical training programmes in Nigeria, strengthening local capacity and reducing reliance on overseas care. A former Chair of the RCOG Nigerian Liaison Group and trustee of AGES Nigeria, his work reflects a sustained commitment to advancing women’s health through clinical excellence, education, mentoring and strategic global collaboration.

Dr. Raji Sekinat Asake is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a Minimally Invasive Gynaecologic Surgeon (MIGS) at the National Hospital Abuja. She is also a visiting consultant at Garki Hospital Abuja and a lecturer at Nile University, Abuja.
She obtained her MBBS from LAUTECH in 2009, followed by MWACS in 2016 and FMCOG in 2022 at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Zaria. She also holds an MBA from Ahmadu Bello University, a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) from Pius Hospital in collaboration with Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, Germany, and a Leadership & Management in Health (LMIH) certification from the University of Washington. She is currently pursuing a PhD at Niger Delta University (NDU).
Dr. Raji’s professional interests center on minimally invasive gynaecologic surgery, particularly in the management of endometriosis.
Dr. Akinyemi Olaleye graduated from the prestigious University of Ibadan Medical School and completed his postgraduate residency program in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital, Ile-Ife, following which he had his fellowship of the West African College of Surgeons.
Afterward, he joined The Premier Specialists’ Medical Center, Lagos, as an obstetrician/Gynaecologist and went on to bag a diploma in Gynecological Endoscopy from UKSH Universität KLINIKUM Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel, Germany, in 2010.
He was an executive director and member of the board of the premier specialists’ medical Center in Lagos from 2011 to 2020. He established Sameda Clinics Limited, a women-centered gynaecological and endoscopy center in 2020, and is a Consultant Obstetrician, Gynecologist, Fertility Physician, Gynecological Endoscopy Surgeon, and the Medical Director of Sameda Clinics Limited. He is also a director at Sameda Integrated Services, Ontario. Canada.
He is also the current vice president of the Association of Gynaecological Endoscopy Surgeons of Nigeria and an examiner for the West African College of Surgeons. He has conducted and published research in international journals and contributes regularly to various Nigerian local magazines on medical issues. He has attended several clinical and non-clinical training sessions, seminars, and conferences in the fields of IVF, advanced gynaecological endoscopy, advanced life support, and global health leadership, both locally and internationally.
He has played an active role in some divestments along Nigeria’s shores and has partnered with a few startups. He is a member of the board of trustees of The Peculiar Saints Orphanage, Ajah. She is a Chief Consultant Anaesthetist at Asokoro District Hospital, Abuja and also serves as the Head of Clinical Services.
She lectures at Nile University, Abuja and coordinates Residency training in Anaesthesia, in FCTA hospitals.
She has interest in Regional Anaesthesia and critical care.

John Imaralu is a Professor at the Babcock University and an honorary consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital, Ilisan-Remo, Ogun state Nigeria.
He coordinated the development of the framework, regulations and guidelines for professional and academic training of resident doctors and medical students, as the first head of the department. These activities contributed to the success of the institution in obtaining full accreditation status from all relevant regulatory bodies. He was also in the forefront of the establishment of the Endoscopic Surgical Unit of the Babcock University Teaching Hospital, where advanced level operative and diagnostic procedures are now frequently done. He also serves as the team lead for this division, coordinating activities of all the departments involved.
His work entails provision of leadership for the department, mentorship, academic and clinical (especially surgical preceptorship) to trainee specialists in gynaecologic surgery and minimal access surgery where he specializes. His trainees have continually performed brilliantly in postgraduate examinations.
He is a fellow and examiner of the West African College of Surgeons and the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria, and a member of AGES, AFRH, ASRM, WALS and many professional bodies.
He has authored over fifty scholarly publications in peer reviewed journals and books, many of which have gynaecologic surgery as theme. He is the editor in chief of AJRGE and a reviewer for several high impact journals.
