Every year, thousands of Nigerian medical graduates enter surgical residencies having performed fewer than five laparoscopic procedures. Laparoscopy — the standard of care for dozens of common surgeries worldwide — remained a skill gap for most.

Abuja Laparoscopy Academy was established to change this reality. We created a dedicated, practical training environment outside the hospital setting, where medical students and surgeons can build genuine competence in laparoscopic techniques without the pressure of live patient care.

Located in the Federal Capital Territory, we serve trainees across Nigeria who deserve world-class surgical education on home soil.
